Direction to Sunrise Beach arriving from East (Atlanta, Tallahassee, Jacksonville)

There are two approaches, one through Panama City and one through the country.

The route through Panama City is 8 miles closer but much more traffic.

Through Panama City

From I-10 exit on Hwy 231 South.

Travel ~ 46 miles to Hwy 368/390.

Turn Right onto 368/390 or continue ~ 2 miles to Hwy 98.

Both routes come together at Hathaway Bridge.

Cross Hathaway Bridge for ~ 2 ½ miles you will find the intersection of 98/30A (Back Beach Road) and 98A/30 (Front Beach Road approach).

Back Beach Road is express route and Front Beach Road is Scenic Route.

From intersection travel Back Beach Road ~ 6.3 miles to Hills Road.

Turn Left onto Hills Road and travel ~ .6 miles to 98A (Front Beach Road).

Turn Left onto Front Beach road travel ~ .3 miles to Sunrise Beach.

From intersection travel Front Beach Road ~ 6 ½ miles to Sunrise Beach.

Parking entrance is on West end of building.

Through Country

From I-10 exit on Hwy 231 South.

Travel ~ 23 miles to Hwy 20.

Turn Right onto Hwy 20.

Travel Hwy 20 for ~ 27 miles to Hwy 79.

Turn left onto Hwy 79 and continue for ~ 15 miles.

Turn left onto Hwy98/30A (Back Beach Road) and continue for ~ 2 miles to Hills Rd.

Turn right onto Hills Rd and travel ~ .6 miles to 98A (Front Beach Road).

Turn Left onto Front Beach road travel ~ .3 miles to Sunrise Beach.

Parking entrance is West end of building.
